What we do, we add an extra syllable <strong>[-id]<\/strong> . This <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">only<\/span> happens with verbs ending in &#8216;-t&#8217; (<em>\u00abwai<strong>ted<\/strong>\u00ab<\/em>) or &#8216;-d&#8217; (<em>\u00abnee<strong>ded<\/strong>\u00ab<\/em>)<\/p>\n<address style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u0398 \u00a0<\/strong>All the past forms that follow are <strong>one-syllable<\/strong> words.\u00a0Notice that by mispronouncing these endings, you are causing serious trouble to the listener.
