\u00abI’ve always been a fan of Dylan’s paintings and drawings. I love his hockey player painting, used by the Band on their LP cover for Music from Big Pink<\/strong>. I also love Dylan’s painting for his own album Self Portrait<\/strong>. Before we parted, I asked Bob if he could do a charcoal drawing for me, and he did. But he did not sign it. Later that night, in a heavy rain, the doorbell rang; it was Bob, soaking wet at the gate. He had come back to sign the little drawing. I was touched. We spoke a bit about dreams, and I felt that I had not only made a good record for Bob, but that I had opened a door for him to look through with a view of the future.
